We were invited, by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage to tender for a major interpretation project, and subsequently we were awarded the contract.
The brief comprised the establishment of a house-style for a range of some thirty brochures, three maps and twenty panels, incorporating the Authority’s new branding. In addition to layout, illustration and production of artwork, English texts were edited and, in some cases, researched and written by our team. Once approved by the client, they were translated into Arabic so that all information is bi-lingual. Participation in the structuring of tender documents for printing brochures and manufacturing panels, collaboration on selecting suitable UAE suppliers, and monitoring of quality was a further requirement. The literature is designed to give parity between English and Arabic texts. |
